2016 continued to be an exciting year of delivering both strategic audience development projects and marketing campaigns. This page highlights some of this work.
Northern Festivals Network is led by Wild Rumpus and includes some of the most exciting and varied festivals in the UK today (‘Cloudspotting’, ‘Festival Number 6’, ‘Just So Festival’, ‘Kendal Calling’, ‘Ramsbottom Festival’ and ‘Underneath The Stars’). This is a 3-year project supporting the work of the UK outdoor arts sector, to develop exciting new work for audiences and demonstrate the benefits of investment in this programming. It will work with the national and international festival sector to make the case for festivals investing in arts programming for families with a focus on quality, accessibility, sustainability and community engagement.
My role is to lead on the audience development including producing a number of reference documents including a Communications Strategy, advising each festival and project whole and leading on key elements of the audience development work over the 3-year period.
